张永超，男，汉族，1982年出生四川大竹，系中国根雕美术协会会员，四川省根雕奇石协会理事，大竹根雕奇石协会副会长。

张永超1997年到福建福州开始进入根雕工厂，开始学习最基础打磨根雕，命运的齿轮由此开始转动。在根雕厂里，每天刻苦钻研根艺制作，熟练地掌握了根雕的雕刻技巧，2007年便着手创办根雕工厂，正式踏上了根雕之路。

张永超热爱根雕，更爱家乡，遂于2018年初将工厂搬回老家大竹县，2020年成立“四川省艺展华根雕艺术品有限公司”，继续匠心雕琢创作，一路“传承”热爱。

2021年5月，在由四川省根雕奇石展主办的，喜迎建党100周年根雕奇石艺术品展中，其作品红豆杉材质的“麒麟”获金奖。为精进技艺，传承热爱，张永超全身心扑在根艺上，通过巧思、巧雕、巧接、巧配座打造出其独一无二的艺术风尚，其作品多次参加省内外展出，深受业内专家们的好评和收藏家们的喜爱。2023年，张永超在第八届中国成都国际非物质文化遗产节“成渝双城经济圈同根同源非遗竞技展”中取得优异成绩，荣获木艺类“最佳创意奖”。作为大竹根雕技艺第五代传承人，张永超不断开拓创新，让更多人了解根雕、欣赏根雕、让根雕技艺能够传承发展，成为张永超一生的使命！

张永超说：“根雕艺术是集自然之美与塑造之妙于一体的造型艺术，讲究‘三分人工、七分天成’，树根的自然天成，决定了作品的独一无二，所以每件根雕作品都是孤品，不可复制！”根雕作品的收藏价值也由此可见一斑！一截枯树干、一段老树根，张永超却总能发现蕴藏在其中的独特之美，“因材施艺”既保留根材造型的天然肌理美，又通过巧妙的刀工和细腻的构思，将它们一点点发掘出来，赋予生命和灵魂。张永超坚持“诚实做人，用心做事”，慢工出细活，匠心筑口碑。

Zhang Yongchao, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1982 in Dazhu, Sichuan. He is a member of the China Root Carving Art Association, a director of the Sichuan Root Carving Stone Association, and the vice president of the Dazhu Root Carving Stone Association. 

Zhang Yongchao entered the root carving factory in Fuzhou, Fujian in 1997, where he began learning the basics of polishing root carving. As a result, the gears of fate began to rotate. In the root carving factory, I work hard every day to study root art production and master the carving techniques of root carving proficiently. In 2007, I started to establish the root carving factory and officially embarked on the path of root carving.

 Zhang Yongchao loved root carving and loved his hometown more, so he moved his factory back to Dazhu County, go home, at the beginning of 2018. In 2020, he set up "Sichuan Art Exhibition Huagen Carving Art Co., Ltd." to continue to carve and create with ingenuity and "inherit" his love all the way. 

In May 2021, at the Root Carving Stone Art Exhibition hosted by the Sichuan Province Root Carving Stone Exhibition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, his work, the "Qilin" made of red cedar material, won a gold medal. In order to improve his skills and inherit his passion, Zhang Yongchao devoted himself wholeheartedly to root art, creating his unique artistic style through clever thinking, carving, connection, and matching. His works have participated in exhibitions both inside and outside the province, and have been highly praised by experts in the industry and loved by collectors. In 2023, Zhang Yongchao achieved excellent results at the 8th Chengdu International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival in China, the "Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle Same Root and Same Source Intangible Cultural Heritage Competition Exhibition", and was awarded the "Best Creativity Award" in the field of wood art. As the fifth generation inheritor of the bamboo root carving technique, Zhang Yongchao constantly explores and innovates, allowing more people to understand and appreciate root carving, and enabling the inheritance and development of root carving techniques, which has become Zhang Yongchao's lifelong mission! 

Zhang Yongchao said, "Root carving art is a form of art that combines the beauty of nature with the beauty of shaping. It emphasizes' three parts artificial, seven parts natural ', and the natural nature of tree roots determines the uniqueness of the work. Therefore, every root carving work is unique and cannot be replicated!" The collection value of root carving works is also evident from this! A withered tree trunk and an old tree root, Zhang Yongchao can always discover the unique beauty hidden within it. "Tailored craftsmanship" not only preserves the natural texture beauty of the root material shape, but also excavates them step by step through clever cutting techniques and delicate ideas, endowing them with life and soul. Zhang Yongchao adheres to the principle of "being honest and doing things with heart", works slowly and meticulously, and builds a good reputation with craftsmanship.
